PORT Lincoln real estate agency Kemp Real Estate was named the Regional Agency of the Year at the Australasian Real Estate Results Awards last week. Hosted by peak industry coaching and training body Real Estate Results Network, this year’s awards had a record number of nominations from across Australia and New Zealand. A total of 28 agencies were nominated as finalists in 15 agency awards, alongside contenders for 21 individual awards, across 36 categories including Agency of the Year, Agent of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, and Rising Star of the Year, among others. Kemp Real Estate principal Steve Kemp said the award was one the business had had its eye on for awhile and he was pleased to win it.
“It comes back to our client base who are obviously so supportive of us,” Mr Kemp said. “I think it’s good for Port Lincoln, it shows our service is up there with the best in Australia and New Zealand. “It’s nice for our clients to know what we do and the results we get for them is benchmarked against the rest of Australia and New Zealand.” He said he was proud of his team and pleased to be able to celebrate with the sales team on the night. The Real Estate Results Network is Australasia’s leading network of independent agencies, with more than 1200 principals and agents who are members throughout Australia and New Zealand. Network founder Michael Sheargold congratulated Kemp Real Estate on its achievement, saying the standard of quality among this year’s finalists was higher than ever. “Our winners were selected for their passion and outstanding contribution to their individual agencies, as well as to the industry as a whole, and I look forward to witnessing each of them achieve even greater heights as they continue to inspire their peers throughout the region in the coming year,” Mr Sheargold said. He said the awards were highly regarded in the industry as peer-nominated awards.
